Gather ingredients: 2/3 cup almond flour, 2/3 cup almond butter, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, 2 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 tablespoon ground flax seed (optional).
Gather supplies: baking sheet, mixing bowl, liquid measuring cup, 1/3 cup dry measuring cup, mixing spoon, measuring spoons (1 tablespoon, 1/2 tablespoon, 1/2 teaspoon), and parchment paper (optional).
Place mixing bowl in front of you. Measure 2/3 cup of almond flour using the 1/3 cup dry measuring cup (two scoops of 1/3 cup).
Measure 2/3 cup of almond butter using the same 1/3 cup dry measuring cup (two scoops of 1/3 cup).
Add 1/2 tablespoon of ground flax seed (optional) to the bowl.
Measure and add 2 1/2 tablespoons of maple syrup to the bowl.
Measure and add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the bowl.
Mix all ingredients together in the bowl until well combined, ensuring no almond flour is visible.
Use a half tablespoon to scoop and roll the mixture into bites.
Place the rolled bites onto a baking sheet.
Refrigerate the bites for 30 minutes to set.
