Grease and flour a sheet cake pan.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just combined.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar and lemon juice, mixing until well combined.
Once the cake is cool, frost the top with the cream cheese mixture.
Decorate the cake with food coloring and edible flowers as desired.
Slice and serve the cake at room temperature.
