2

Add 3/4 cup of cold water and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.

3

Mix the ingredients together with your hands until it forms a big ball of dough.

4

If the dough isn't combining well, add a little bit of water until it is fully mixed.

5

Lay out a bit of flour on the surface for rolling out the dough.

6

Roll out the dough and poke a little hole in the center of each piece.

7

Heat a pan with about half an inch to an inch of oil over a little above medium heat.

8

Once the oil is hot, carefully lay the dough into the frying pan to avoid splashback.

9

Fry the dough until brown spots appear around the edges and it starts to bubble, about 20 to 30 seconds before flipping.

10

Flip the dough over carefully to avoid hot oil splashes.

11

Cook until golden brown, then remove and place on a cooling pan.

12

Drizzle local honey on top of the fried bread as a topping.
