Add the cooked beans to the pot and stir to combine.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Bring the soup to a simmer and cook for 20-30 minutes to meld flavors.
Stir in chopped kale and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
