Add all-purpose flour to a stand mixer.
Add sugar, eggs, yeast, melted butter, and milk to the mixer.
Knead the mixture in the stand mixer for 10 minutes, starting on low and increasing speed after 2 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a floured bowl.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a plastic bag to rise until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and form it into another ball.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Use a doughnut cutter to cut out doughnuts, placing each on a piece of parchment paper.
Remove excess dough and re-roll it to cut out more doughnuts.
Heat oil to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit) for frying.
Fry two doughnuts at a time, flipping them when they start to puff up to ensure even cooking.
Cook until the doughnuts are a light golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Remove the doughnuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain.
