Take 2 cups of medium grain rice and rinse it in cold water until the water runs clear, about five times.

Use a large tomato (6 to 8 ounces), or substitute with roma tomatoes or a can of crushed tomatoes, or use a tomato chicken flavored bouillon cube.

Measure 1 and 3/4 cups of water and add it to the rice cooker.

Add 2 tablespoons of chicken flavored bouillon powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin, and some cracked black pepper to the water.

Add the rinsed rice to the mixture in the rice cooker.

Add the chopped tomato on top of the rice mixture.

Close the rice cooker and start the cooking process according to the type of rice being used.

Once the rice cooker clicks to the warm setting, let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes without lifting the lid.
