Make the teriyaki sauce by mixing together 1/4 cup brown sugar, 4 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon freshly ground ginger, 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1/4 cup soy sauce, and 1/4 cup water in a mixing bowl.

Heat a preheated pan and add a little olive oil.

Add 1 pound of thinly sliced chicken breast to the pan, season with salt, and cook until browned.

Transfer the cooked chicken to a small bowl.

In the same pan, add 1 large sliced red onion and 5 white mushrooms, frying until golden brown.

Remove the onion and mushrooms from the pan and add them to the chicken.
