8 cups water
2 cups carrots
1 large onion
4 cloves garlic
2 bell peppers
1/2 cup chives
2 tablespoons fresh thyme
1/4 cup fresh basil
1 medium plantain
2 medium edo's
1 medium sweet potato
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup parsley
1/2 cup cornmeal (for dumplings)
