- ●powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan.
- 2Melt butter in a mixing bowl and stir in sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- 3Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- 4Stir in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- 5Sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- 6Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- 7Fold in chocolate chips for added richness.
- 8Spread half of the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- 9Dollop peanut butter and jelly over the batter, swirling gently with a knife.
- 10Spread the remaining brownie batter on top, covering the peanut butter and jelly.
- 11Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 12Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- 13Dust with powdered sugar before slicing into squares.
- 14Serve and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors.
Ingredients
- ●400g firm tofu
- ●1/4 cup cornstarch
- ●1/2 tsp salt
- ●1/2 tsp black pepper
- ●1/4 cup vegetable oil
- ●2 cloves garlic, minced
- ●1 inch ginger, minced
- ●2-3 green chilies, sliced
- ●1/4 cup soy sauce
- ●1 tbsp rice vinegar
- ●1 tbsp sugar
- ●1/4 cup chopped green onions
- ●sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- 1Press the tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- 2In a bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Toss the tofu cubes in the mixture until evenly coated.
- 3Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- 4In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 5Add the sliced green chilies and stir-fry for another minute.
- 6In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar. Pour this sauce into the pan and bring to a simmer.
- 7Add the crispy tofu back into the pan, tossing to coat it in the sauce.
- 8Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 9Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
