2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
1 cup beer
2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
2 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, brown sugar, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.

Add sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, star anise, and a cinnamon stick to the slow cooker.
