Add butter to the warm milk and stir until melted.
Pour the warm milk mixture into the thickened sorghum mixture, stirring well to combine.
Add cardamom and vanilla extract, mixing until evenly distributed.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
Serve hot, drizzled with extra milk if desired.
