Peel and slice a full onion, trying to minimize waste.
Once the potatoes are softened, mash them until smooth.
Add butter to the mashed potatoes for richness.
Pour in about 100 milliliters of milk, adjusting for desired texture.
Season the mashed potatoes with salt, black pepper, and fresh or dried nutmeg.
Fry 150 grams of bacon in a pan without oil until crispy, then remove from the pan.
Use the bacon fat to fry the sliced onions, adding 2 tablespoons of butter for flavor.
Once the onions are softened, add 100 grams of sausages and season with salt and pepper.
Plate the dish by adding the mashed potatoes first, then topping with the onions, sausages, crispy bacon, and finally, chopped beets and parsley.
