How to Make a Giant Kit Kat Candy Bar

Melt chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until completely melted.

Temper the chocolate by adding more chocolate morsels and stirring until melted and smooth.

Cut wafers in half, marking at 4.5 inches and using a serrated knife to carefully slice them.

Prepare a mold using a flowerpot, cutting a piece of cardboard to fit and wrapping it with wax paper to prevent absorption of chocolate.

Cut letters for 'Kit Kat' out of a plastic binder sheet and arrange them upside down and in reverse order inside the mold.

Pour about an inch of tempered chocolate into the bottom of the mold and tap it to settle.

Insert the halved wafers into the chocolate, pushing them together but not all the way to the edge, and pour more chocolate around and on top of them.

Tap the mold to remove bubbles and ensure the chocolate fills all crevices, then let it sit overnight or refrigerate to speed up the process.

Remove the giant Kit Kat from the mold by pulling off the wax paper and flipping it over, then cut off any excess chocolate from the sides.
