Moufletas, a traditional Moroccan dish, is often enjoyed during special occasions like the festival of Mimouna, celebrated by the Jewish community in Morocco. This dish symbolizes hospitality and the welcoming of spring. Today, it has transcended its cultural roots and is enjoyed by many as a delightful breakfast or snack, often paired with honey and butter for a sweet treat.

Coconut sugar is less processed.
Put 500 grams of sifted flour in a bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon sugar to the flour.
Gradually add 1.5 cups water and knead until a uniform dough forms.
Set the dough aside.
In another bowl, pour some olive oil and coat your hands with it.
Make balls out of the dough and place them in the bowl with olive oil.
Set the balls aside for half an hour.
Place baking paper on the work surface and apply a little oil.
Take a ball from the bowl of oil and place it on the baking paper.
Cover the dough with more baking paper and roll it into a large circle.
Peel off the top baking paper.
Put a pot upside down on the gas over medium heat and grease it only the first time.
Turn the dough onto the pot and peel off the baking paper.
Roll out another ball of dough and repeat the process, placing it on the pot and peeling the baking paper.
Continue stacking the dough on the pot, turning each one to the other side as you go.
Once you have a stack, take out about 5 or 6 to a plate and continue making the rest of the Mufleta until all the dough is used up.
You can spread honey, maple, chocolate, cheese, or whatever you want on the Mufleta.
