Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
Add the yeast mixture and oil to the flour mixture; mix until combined.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a round loaf.
Coat the top of the loaf with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds generously.
Place the loaf on a baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
