Add 2 tablespoons of seven spice to the meat mixture; let it cook down for a few more minutes.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and 1/4 stick of butter; optionally add mushrooms and mix.

Add 28 ounces of crushed tomato and a little water to the mixture; stir well and let it simmer.

Boil water for the lasagna noodles; add a few basil leaves to the meat sauce while it simmers.

Add the lasagna noodles to the boiling water without oil; cook for 12-13 minutes until done.
