Coconut cream provides a dairy-free option.

Start with one whole cup of cocoa powder in a small stovetop pot.

Add about a half a cup of unrefined coconut oil and a half a cup of maple syrup to the pot.

Set the pot on the stove at medium to low heat and whisk with a fork until combined and liquidy.

Remove from heat and add three drops of orange essential oil, mixing it in.

Sprinkle coarse sea salt into the bottom of the heart-shaped molds before pouring in the chocolate.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the molds, making sure it's flat on the bottom.

Place the molds in the fridge for at least an hour to harden.
