Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Prepare a sheet tray lined with parchment paper.
Chop cherry tomatoes and zucchini, then place them on the sheet tray.
Season the vegetables with salt and black pepper, then drizzle with olive oil to coat.
Roast the vegetables in the oven for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add chopped asparagus to the tray and roast for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until tender.
While the vegetables roast, boil water in a large pot and add salt.
Add bowtie pasta to the boiling water and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, removing it 2 minutes before the package instructions indicate.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant but not burned.
Add capers to the skillet and stir.
Once the pasta is cooked, reserve some pasta water and drain the rest.
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic and capers, mixing well.
Add a splash of reserved pasta water to thicken the sauce.
Stir in the roasted vegetables and mix until combined.
Finish the dish with lemon juice and fresh basil on top.
