Cook diced chicken in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir to combine, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream, cooking until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add cooked chicken, peas, thyme, salt, and pepper; mix well.
Roll out pie crust and place in a pie dish; pour chicken mixture into the crust.
Cover with another layer of pie crust, sealing the edges and cutting slits for steam.
Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
