Homemade Peach Tea

Frozen peaches maintain flavor and are often less expensive.

Bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the sugar is dissolved.

Add 8 ounces of frozen peaches to the pot.

Add 3 black tea bags and simmer on medium heat.

Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to soften the peaches.

Turn off the heat and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes.

Strain the mixture to separate the peaches from the tea using a slotted spoon.

Add 3 cups of water to the strained tea to make a total of 6 cups.

Taste the tea and add more peaches if desired for additional flavor.

Serve the tea over ice.
