Add 2 cloves of crushed or chopped garlic to the skillet and sauté.

Sprinkle in a little sugar if desired and a sprinkle of salt.

Add 28 ounces of Italian tomatoes to the skillet.

Pour in 3 cups of passata (tomato puree).

Stir in some basil to the sauce.

When ready to assemble, add 1 cup of cream to the sauce.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
