Drain the pineapple chunks and reserve 6 tablespoons of juice.

In a mixing bowl, combine the pineapple chunks, sugar, and reserved juice.

Melt the butter and mix it with flour until crumbly.

Add the melted butter mixture to the pineapple mixture and stir to combine.

Fold in the shredded Cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle the crushed Ritz crackers evenly over the top.
