Start with the base ingredients: 1 cup of maida, 1/4 cup of castor sugar, and 1/2 tbsp of baking powder.
Beat together castor sugar and 50 grams of butter until smooth.
Mix in the maida and beat everything together until soft.
Cut parchment paper to fit the baking tray, making it easier to lift after baking.
Press the batter into the baking tray, especially in the corners.
Bake at 170-180 degrees Celsius for 14 minutes.
Prepare the filling with 300 grams of condensed milk, 2 tbsp of golden syrup, 3 tbsp of coffee, and 30 grams of butter.
Mix everything for 3-4 minutes until combined, then add walnuts and stir until the mixture thickens.
Prepare the topping with 50 grams of butter, 1 cup of maida, 2-3 tbsp of ground cinnamon, and 1/3 cup of brown sugar.
Mix maida and brown sugar, then add cinnamon and butter to make a dough.
Pack the dough in foil or an airtight container and freeze for 30 minutes.
Remove the baked base from the oven and pour the filling on top, spreading it evenly.
Grate the topping from the refrigerator and add it on top of the filling.
Bake again at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
