4 small potatoes
2 tablespoons all-purpose Maggi seasoning
2 small jalapeno peppers
6 boiled eggs

Cut up and wash a 5 lbs whole chicken with lemon.

In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Dissolve 2 to 3 oz of black recado paste in 4 cups of water to make the broth.

Add the black recado broth to the pot along with another 4 cups of water.

Add the chopped bell pepper, onion, and 4 small cut-up potatoes to the pot.

Stir well and let it come to a boil for about 10 minutes.

Add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose Maggi seasoning and let it boil for another 10 minutes.

Add 6 boiled eggs (peeled) to the soup and stir.

Let it boil for 15 minutes before serving.
