Slice the onion and soak it in ice water for a few minutes, then drain.

Top the pizza with the sliced onions, sprinkle with salt, and Parmesan cheese, and drizzle with olive oil.

Bake at 450F/230C for 25-30 minutes with a rack in the lower third.
