Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. 3Add the vanilla extract and milk to the mixture, and mix until well combined.
  4. 4In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, ground flaxseed, baking soda, and salt.
  5. 5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. 6If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. 7Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
