Vinegar Pie

1/2 cup melted butter
2 T. apple cider vinegar
1/4 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 pie shell (pre-baked or unbaked)
1/2 t. cinnamon (optional)
1/4 t. nutmeg (optional)

Preheat the oven to 425F (400F for convection oven).

If using a pre-baked pie shell, bake the filling for 25-30 minutes.

If using an unbaked pie shell, bake at 425F (400F for convection) for 12 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350F (325F for convection) and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Check if the pie is done by inserting a tester; it should come out clean. The pie will rise and then fall.
