In a food processor, combine 1 and 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder. Pulse to mix.
Add 3 ounces of cold cream cheese to the flour mixture and pulse a few times to break it down.
Add 1 stick of ice cold cubed unsalted butter and pulse until the mixture resembles pea-sized pieces.
Add 2 teaspoons of fresh orange juice and 1.5 tablespoons of ice water to the mixture. Pulse to combine.
If the dough is too dry, add more ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until it holds together.
Gather the dough together using a bench scraper and your hands, being careful not to overwork it to maintain flakiness.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or store for a couple of days or freeze for later use.
In a saucepan, combine 2.5 tablespoons of cornstarch, 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and the zest from 1 orange.
Add the thawed mixed berries to the saucepan, keeping the juice separate, and mix well.
Heat the mixture on low until it thickens, stirring occasionally, about 1 minute.
Once thickened, remove from heat and transfer the filling to a bowl to cool before using it in the turnovers.
