1

Cut a block of mozzarella cheese into big rectangular pieces.

2

Set the pieces of mozzarella cheese aside.

3

In a bowl, add 1 cup of flour.

4

In another bowl, add 3 eggs and 1 tbsp of water, then beat the eggs with a whisk until smooth.

5

In a third bowl, add 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 tbsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and 1 tsp of paprika, then mix everything together until well combined.

6

Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then coat it in the egg wash, then in the breadcrumbs.

7

Coat each mozzarella stick once again in the egg wash and then once again in the breadcrumbs.

8

Place the coated mozzarella sticks on a tin foil-covered baking sheet.

9

Freeze the mozzarella sticks for 1 hour.

10

Pour vegetable oil into a pan and heat it to around 350°F (175°C).

11

Once the oil is hot, take the mozzarella sticks out of the freezer and begin frying them, placing around 2 to 3 mozzarella sticks at a time in the pan to avoid overcrowding.

12

Let them cook for around 1 minute or until crispy and golden brown, flipping them to cook evenly on both sides.

13

Take the cooked mozzarella sticks out of the pan and place them on a wire rack.

14

Repeat the frying process with the remaining mozzarella sticks.

15

To make the Nashville hot sauce, in a bowl, add 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, 1 tsp of chili powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of paprika, 1/4 tsp of pepper, and 1/4 tsp of salt, then mix everything together until well combined.

16

Add 1/2 cup of the hot oil used to fry the mozzarella sticks to the spice mixture and mix until well combined.

17

Coat the fried mozzarella sticks in the Nashville hot sauce.

18

Optionally, add more Nashville hot sauce on top of the coated mozzarella sticks before serving.
