Pour 45 milliliters (1.5 ounces) of vodka into the shaker.

Add 15 milliliters (0.5 ounces) of triple sec to the shaker.

Add 7.5 milliliters (0.25 ounces) of lime juice to the shaker.

Add 30 milliliters (1 ounce) of cranberry juice to the shaker.

Add 6 to 8 cubes of ice to the shaker.

Shake the ingredients 10 to 12 times to mix and chill them.

Strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail glass using a cocktail strainer.

Garnish the cocktail with the orange spiral.
