- ●1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ●3/4 cup milk
- ●1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 3Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 4Stir in the sugar.
- 5Make a well in the center and pour in the milk. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- 6Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds.
- 7Roll or pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness.
- 8Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a glass and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 9Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- 10Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

- 9Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
