Buffalo Mac and Cheese

8 oz elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 cup buffalo sauce
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
