Mince 2 tablespoons of fresh dill.

Thinly slice 2 English cucumbers using a mandolin.

Thinly slice 1 red onion.

Set aside the sliced cucumbers and onions.

In a serving bowl, combine 1/2 cup of sour cream, minced dill, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 2 teaspoons of sugar.

Whisk the sauce ingredients together until well combined.

Add the sliced cucumbers and onions to the sauce.

Stir everything together until the vegetables are well coated with the sauce.

If desired, chill in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours before serving or serve immediately.
