Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. 3Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir until combined.
  4. 4In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  5. 5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. 6Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
  7. 7Smooth the top with a spatula and tap the pan gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.
  8. 8Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a 9-inch round cake pan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat.
  3. 3Slice the bananas into rounds and arrange them in a single layer over the brown sugar mixture in the pan.
  4. 4In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. 5In another bowl, cream together the granulated sugar and remaining butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
