It serves as a quick and easy alternative to baked bread, allowing for creativity with flavors and ingredients. This method is particularly popular in camping or outdoor cooking scenarios, where access to a full kitchen may be limited.

Whole wheat flour is more nutritious.

Baking powder can be a quicker alternative.
Combine lukewarm water, sugar, and instant yeast in a bowl.
Add salt and olive oil to the mixture.
Add bread flour and mix using a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5 minutes.
Remove the dough from the mixer and knead for 2 minutes.
Shape the dough into a round ball and place it in a greased mixing bowl.
Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it ferment for 25 minutes.
Grease a cast iron skillet with olive oil.
Place the dough on the greased skillet and lightly press it down to release air bubbles.
Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it proof for 25 minutes.
Turn on the heat to medium-low and bake the dough covered for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, flip the dough using a greased plate and cook for another 15 minutes on the other side.
