Sprinkle in cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper; stir to combine.
Add soaked beans and enough vegetable broth to cover them.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
Simmer for 1-1.5 hours until beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
Add lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving.
Adjust seasoning to taste, if necessary.
