Heat 1 cup of milk and mix it with 1 cup of cool water to bring it to temperature.
Add 1 tablespoon of yeast to the milk and water mixture and let it sit for about 10 minutes to proof.
Stir in 1/3 cup of sugar to dissolve and feed the yeast.
Add 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and 1 egg to the mixture, followed by 1 teaspoon of salt, and mix well.
Gradually add 6 cups of flour, starting with 5 1/2 cups and adjusting based on humidity, mixing on low speed until a ball forms.
Knead the dough in the mixer for about 8 minutes until it is smooth and springs back when pressed.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Punch down the risen dough and prepare a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl.
Cut the dough into chunks and toss them in the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture until coated.
Layer the coated dough chunks in a greased pan, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
Cover the pan with a towel and let the dough rise again while preheating the oven to 350°F.
Bake the loaves in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before glazing if desired.
