Arrange the stuffed cabbage rolls seam-side down in the pot.
Add bay leaves and caraway seeds between layers of rolls.
Spread tomato paste over the top of the rolls.
Pour broth over the rolls until just covered.
Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours until meat is cooked through.
Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream.
