Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, then add the apples and coat them with the butter.
Sauté the apples over medium heat for about 5 minutes until they are soft and fork-tender, allowing juices to form a syrupy texture.
Layer the cinnamon sugar tortilla chips on a serving plate.
Spoon the syrupy apples over the tortilla chips, creating a generous layer.
Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apple layer for added sweetness.
Add dollops of whipped cream on top of the nachos as a finishing touch.
