Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts and pretzel sticks.
  3. 3In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, maple syrup, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4Pour the oil mixture over the nuts and pretzels, and toss until everything is well coated.
  5. 5Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. 6Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the nuts are golden and fragrant.
  7. 7Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  8. 8Once cooled, stir in the chopped fresh herbs.
  9. 9Serve as a snack or appetizer.
