Mix 1 cup of flour and 2.25 cups of sugar in a bowl.
Add 2 rounded tablespoons of cocoa powder to the mixture and stir well to avoid clumps.
Pour in 1 cup of milk and stir until creamy.
Add 3.5 cups of water to the mixture while stirring gently.
Place the mixture on the stove over medium-high heat without turning on the burner yet.
Once mixed, turn on the burner and stir constantly.
Watch for the mixture to start thickening; it will initially be watery but will thicken after a minute.
When the mixture starts to get thick and creamy, remove it from the heat; it will continue to thicken as it cools.
Prepare biscuits by peeling them open and adding butter.
Pour the chocolate gravy over the biscuits and mix in the butter.
Optionally, add a dollop of peanut butter to the chocolate gravy for extra flavor.
