Drain the cream cheese by scooping it out into a cheesecloth lined colander and let it drain for about six hours.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Boil a pot of water for the bagels.
Take the bagels out of the refrigerator after they have been sitting overnight.
Boil the bagels for one minute on each side for a chewier texture, or two minutes on each side if desired.
Transfer the boiled bagels to parchment lined baking sheets and sprinkle with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
Bake the bagels in the oven for five minutes.
Rotate the pans and reduce the oven temperature to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, then bake for additional time until done.
Let the bagels cool for a minute before slicing one open to check the texture.
Salt the drained cream cheese with about three teaspoons of salt and mix well to achieve a smooth texture.
