Start with cube steak and create a marinade using equal parts olive oil and rice vinegar.

Marinate the steak for about 20 minutes.

In a skillet, add more olive oil and the marinated steak.

Cover the skillet and let the steak release its own water.

Do not add water until the steak has reduced its water by half.

Once reduced, add more onions and extra water to the skillet.

Cover again and let it cook for another 20 minutes until the steak is tender enough to cut with a spoon.
