Peel the plantains by cutting down the sides and opening them carefully.

Drop the sliced plantains into the hot oil one by one.
Fry the plantains until the edges start to brown, then flip them over to fry the other side.
Once both sides are golden brown, remove the plantains and place them on a napkin to absorb excess oil.
