Kentucky Beer Cheese

1.5 pounds sharp cheddar cheese
1.33 cups beer (Budweiser)
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder

Open the beer and let it sit out overnight to go flat and reach room temperature.

Shred 1.5 pounds of sharp cheddar cheese using a food processor with a medium shredding blade.

Transfer the shredded cheese into a bowl.

Replace the shredding blade with the multi-purpose blade in the food processor.

Add the shredded cheese back into the food processor, filling it no more than 3/4 full.

Turn on the food processor to high and process until the cheese starts to break down, scraping down the sides if necessary.

Add about half of the 1.33 cups of beer to the cheese in the food processor to help liquefy it.

Turn the food processor back on to high and process until the cheese smooths out.

Add 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce to the cheese mixture.

Turn the food processor on low and mix while adding the dry seasonings.

Add 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper, using a half teaspoon measure to add four half teaspoons if desired.

Add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and 1.5 teaspoons of garlic powder to the mixture.

Scrape down the sides of the food processor to ensure all ingredients are mixed well.

Add more beer as needed to achieve the right texture, then turn on high again.

Repeat the scraping and processing until the mixture is creamy and smooth, about four to five times.

Once the desired consistency is reached, transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate to thicken further.
