Homemade Whopper Burger

Heat your frying pan or grill to medium-high heat.
Place the beef patty on the pan or grill and let it cook for about 4 minutes on each side.
Use a spatula to flip the patty halfway through cooking.
While the patty is cooking, wash the lettuce and tomatoes thoroughly.
Slice the tomatoes and onions into thin slices and set them aside on a plate.
Prepare the pickles by slicing them if they aren't already pre-sliced.
Once the patty is cooked, take the bottom part of the sesame seed bun and spread a little mayonnaise on it.
Place the cooked beef patty on top of the mayonnaise.
Add a slice of cheese if desired.
Layer the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles on top of the patty.
Top it off with ketchup and a bit of mustard.
Place the top part of the bun on your stacked ingredients and press down gently to hold everything in place.
