Add 1 liter of water to a pot and heat over medium heat.
Add 2 piloncillo, 2 bars of chocolate, and 4 small cinnamon sticks to the pot.
Cover the pot and let it boil until the piloncillo and chocolate melt.
In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of masa with approximately 1 liter of water until smooth and free of lumps.
Check the chocolate mixture; once melted, add 1 gallon of milk and stir continuously to prevent sticking.
Add 1 can of evaporated milk to the mixture for extra flavor.
Once the milk is hot, slowly add the masa mixture while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Continue stirring until the mixture reaches a boil, which may take about 40 minutes.
Ensure to stir constantly to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Once it starts bubbling, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
