Season the mahi mahi with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne pepper.
Heat a cast iron pan over medium high heat and add two tablespoons of olive oil.
Pat down the seasonings onto the mahi mahi and flip them over to season the other side.
Once the pan is hot, place the mahi mahi in the pan and listen for the sizzle.
Cook the mahi mahi for about eight minutes, checking after three to four minutes for doneness.
While the fish is cooking, prepare the mango salsa by mixing two tablespoons of chopped cilantro, two tablespoons of diced white onion, and three tablespoons of diced mango in a bowl.
Squeeze half a lime into the salsa mixture and stir to combine.
