Add 1 cup of lukewarm milk to a bowl and mix in 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of dry yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
In another bowl, crack 1 egg and beat it well for 2 minutes.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the egg and mix.
Add 1 cup of all-purpose flour to the egg mixture and mix roughly, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
Combine the yeast mixture with the flour mixture and mix well until less sticky.
Cover the dough with cling film and let it rest for 20 minutes until it doubles in size.
Punch down the dough and transfer it to a floured work area.
Roll out the dough to a suitable thickness and cut out donut shapes using a cookie cutter.
Fry the donuts in sufficient oil until golden brown on both sides.
In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of milk, and a few drops of pink food coloring to make icing.
Dip the donuts in the icing and set aside for 10 minutes.
In another bowl, mix 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of milk to make chocolate topping.
Dip the donuts in the chocolate topping and set aside for 10 minutes.
