In a large bowl, mix together cream, mayonnaise, chili powder, garlic, cilantro, lemon zest and lemon juice. Check for seasoning and if required, add some salt.

Heat up a charcoal grill. Place the corn on the grate – 2 to 3 at a time. Grill each side for 3 to 4 minutes, till the corn is evenly grilled and there are tiny black dots on all the corn kernels.

Take the grilled corn off the grate. Using a spoon, lather sauce over the corn, top off with cotija cheese and serve!
